Cantor Fitzgerald's Prime Services is a platform that allows clients to trade, clear, settle, custody, and finance a variety of financial instruments and strategies. The platform was launched in 2009 and uses Cantor Fitzgerald's clearing, financing, and execution capabilities. Since 2017 the business has grown rapidly across the globe, and with the market resurgence in the latter part of 2020, continuing into 2021, the business is looking to add a highly motivated and dynamic client onboarding representative to work as part of the US-based team.
Responsibilities:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Prime Brokerage Onboarding Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the onboarding process across equities, fixed income, swap, clearing, and digital assets. The objective of the role is to deliver a seamless client experience across the firm.
- Work with Sales and Clients to cross-sell the firm's capabilities in alignment with client needs.
- Scope out client requirements while acting as a project manager.
- Lead the initiative to onboard clients to execute on the Cantor platform.
- Serve as the escalation point for legal deal negotiations.
- Collaborate with the Risk team to ensure the client's profile aligns with Cantor's capabilities.
- Liaise with KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) teams to collect due diligence requirements, ensuring compliance with CF Secured LLC's regulatory regime.
- Work with Technology to set up trading, post-trade, and client-facing portal technologies.
- Address client inquiries and resolve issues that arise during the onboarding process.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to prime brokerage services.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in prime brokerage, client onboarding, or a related financial services role.
- Strong understanding of capital markets and financial products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, or a related field.
Salary: $70,000 - $85,000
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $85,000.The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
